The Rebel...

There were still three more to go, those miscreants had taken control of the entire building. All his vacation plans now had turned to his on-field duty. He looked at the dead body of one of them and cursed for all that has happened. The thoughts of the hapless people in the building haunted him as he closed his eyes. He had to do something to help them.

He re-loaded his weapon with the last round. As he moved close to the door, there was a creaking noise followed by movement....He heard them coming towards the door. . As he peaked through the key hole, he noticed all the three got together most likely to plan their next step. It was the right time for him to make a move., but the nervousness got hold of his senses.
His mind calculated the probability of him making out unhurt, even his math skill couldn't help him. But then he realized the opportunity he had.
"What if I miss them? What if they escape? What if the wasted his last round?" questions flashed at every microsecond....

He took a deep breath...held the door knob in one hand and the automatic weapon in the other. Closed his eyes for a second, as if in prayer. The door opened, the three was shocked but by the time they reacted... Bang!! Bang!! Bang!! Bang!! the sound of the automatic weapon..

It was all over!!! He laughed.... "You blood suckers!!!!" He shouted at top of his voice....For the moment he was happy to be a sadist to see the three take their last breath... He breathed a sigh of relief as but then a shadow moved.... Someone was standing behind him...he held his weapon tight, without wasting a moment turned around pointed the weapon and clicked the trigger!!!!

Vijay!!!!!! what are you doing??? He looked at her with a innocent face, "Sorry Mommy...". "Go to your room and clean up your shelf" she shouted. "OK Mommy!" he said as he handed over his automatic weapon - 'The Insect spray' to her. But as he walked turned around, looked at the dead cockroaches and gave a wicked smile satisfied that he has done his duty.

Everyone in the building was saved from those Deadly Miscreants....But our hero walked to his room as if nothing had happened...

And Then There Were None...

“And Then There Were None” the title of the book was so intriguing that I picked it up from the book exhibition the day before. It has been a long time since I read a novel; my mind wandered through my memories but couldn’t recollect the last one. It all changed since the day I joined as a Software Engineer. At first it was a dream come true, but as the days moved on did I realize that it became a painful routine to stay at office late nights to finish up the work. Days changed to Months and Months to Years, but the routine never changed....

It was yesterday, when I heard from my colleagues about this book exhibition. Being the release date of our Software, I was happy that I would find time for myself in the coming days. Hoping to get some free time, I purchased the book.

It’s 10.00 in the evening and I’m still my desk, thanks to the ever changing requirements. I stood up from my desk and looked around, but the only thing I could notice was the book I bought which said “And Then There Were None”...

Dead Man...

They were Out Numbered for sure, but it never deterred him much. The Faith on his Counterparts and his patriotism, gave him the belief to tackle any such difficult situations. As the Enemies marched in towards them, he held his sword close to his heart which looked as 'if the Sword was confiding confidence to his heart'.

They treated each other no more than their brothers, He always felt happy to be in their company. He stood his ground!!! As the Enemies were at a striking distance, he noticed a wicked smile on those faces....

He looked around, but just to find his counterparts retreat. He looked at them in grief, Words betrayed him... But his eyes never did. As tears rolled over his cheeks, He turned around towards the enemies, holding his sword firmer than ever.

The ' Dead Man' marched towards his enemies, to fight the already 'Lost Battle'........
